Tempa & Naor are an award-winning, Maui-based singer-songwriter duo blending SoulFolk, Americana, and Blues into what they call Music Medicine. Partners in life and music, their duo show expands beyond its size—using live looping, Naor layers guitar, ukulele, bass, and kick into a lush musical landscape, while Tempa’s powerhouse, soul-drenched vocals and emotionally charged storytelling take center stage.
Together, they bring decades of musical experience to the stage. Tempa has shared stages with legends including B.B. King, Mavis Staples, and Jeff Beck, and fronted acclaimed projects such as Tempa & The Tantrums (Denver’s Best Blues Band, 2006) and Maui’s beloved Soul Kitchen (Best Band on Maui, 2017). As a duo, Tempa & Naor have performed worldwide—from the mainland U.S. to Israel and Hawai‘i—building a loyal following through deeply human, song-driven performances.
Their Music Medicine Sessions feature original songs from albums like Ember’s Fire (2018) and MoonFall (2024), alongside alternative, soulful interpretations of artists such as Bonnie Raitt, Guns N’ Roses, Grace Potter, The Weeknd, Tina Turner, Bruce Springsteen, and Mavis Staples. Each show is intimate, dynamic, and rooted in connection—where great songs, groove, and story come together in a shared musical experience.
